Gaining Insight
Through Lexigrams
There is a fun exercise that has a metaphysical aspect to it. It
is called Lexigrams. It works for the English language for the most
part. How it works is you take your name, the name of a business
or the title of something. Break the name into smaller words using
only the letters in the given name. Although, on occasion a optional
"s" or second letter can be added. When you use your name or that
of a friend, use the name they use regularly. Then try it with a
full name. It is amazing how it can predict the future. After making
several words from the name, you put them into sentences.
Some Examples:
PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY:
JOHN
IS NOT HERE
HE IS SHOT ON TOP
ONE SON FOR JOHN
HIS SON IS JR.
JOHN IS NOT TO SEE SON DIE
SHE (Jackie) DOES SEE JOHN DIE
Next, I tried to find sentences to reflect both
the positive and negatives of our current president. In a case like
that, it may mean that it can go either way!
PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH
BUSH
GO(O)D PRESIDENT TO US (or U.S.)
BUSH TO HURT U.S. (or US)
BUSH IS NOT ON OUR SIDE
HE IS ON HIS SIDE
TRUS(T) BUSH TO ID TERRO(R)
-- or, DO NOT TRUS(T) BUSH
You see I placed some letter in parenthesis (
) because they are not in the name or not doubled.
Now Try Sentences with your Own Name!
One of my favorite one word lexigrams is GOD
and/or DOG. There is a reason for this, it seems. For more information
on lexigrams and the rules, check out or buy the book Star Signs
by Linda Goodman. Now try your own name, see if it fits.
