The Power of Prayer
 This
week my thoughts have been focused on acheiving goals. In the past
I've studied many techniques for succeeding in manifesting my desires,
everything from the Bible, to other metaphysical books and self-help
books. And, yes, I feel the Bible is a metaphysical book. From these
I have learned a powerful technique that I wouldlike to share with
you: THE POWER OF PRAYING PROPERLY. This technique is open to all
people, whether they are involved in  organized
religion or have a spiritual nature on their own.
Whether you pray directly to God, Universal Power
or the Angelic Realm - there is no correct or incorrect choice.
Whoever comforts and helps you feel your message is heard is right
for you. Now here is how to pray properly: Pray as if what you
request is already true! That is the secret to the power of
prayer! Simple. Easy.
 Too
many people are taught to pray improperly. "Dear God, please let
me have this wonderful house!" A prayer such as this says that you
do not trust that the all-powerful energy of our world has already
fulfiled your request. Instead, a powerful prayer is positive:
"Dear God, thank you for this wonderful house!!" In such a scenario,
you are TRUSTING and HAVING FAITH the outcome is assured. Then your
next step is to clearly visualize your request as if it is achieved.
Here's a true story of visualization and prayer
Some time ago, a friend told me his mother lay
on her deathbed. He felt he had just seen her for the last time.
My friend was in such pain, I decided to begin a personal prayer
vigil for her and for him.
Every night for two weeks, I prayed, "Dear God,
thank you for my friend's mother's wonderful health!" Along with
the prayer, I visualized her dancing with her son. Seeing them nightly
waltzing, laughing and happy. Two weeks later, his mother had made
a miraculous recovery! Even the doctors were amazed. Her terminal
illness had thankfully gone into remission.

Certainly the Universe is far wiser than we are.
Often an answer to your prayer will take a turn that you do not
expect. But put your request out there clearly and then listen for
the answer. It will come!
