Now, if you go to those fifty interviews, and in some
of those "we can't help you"'s -- you get one or two who say "but I know
someone who may be able to help you" -- it's a positive sign you are heading
in the right direction.
Stop Look and Listen 
And many times the signs can be very subtle, or appear
in the strangest forms. You're considering giving your dream of acting
a try. You walk into your local post office and as you approach the couple
in front of you,  they mention her "new acting class". Or you want to start
your own business and a friend calls you out of the blue saying his office
is trying to "lease out a small office" in his building. The Universe
is helping confirm your thoughts. Listen to verses in songs on the radio
when you turn it on... they can hold advice and signs, or a line in a
TV show or movie.
And,
of course, it is acceptable to ask for signs. Before you fall asleep,
in prayer or meditation, ask for the answers to questions. You can ask
them to appear in your dreams (do keep paper and pen near the bed to record
any revelations). And some even ask for a certain sign.

Asking For a Sign 
A friend of mine would pray for guidance, and the sign
she would see, in waking, to confirm a yes would be "a white lily". If
she didn't see a while lily that day, that would mean her answer was no.
Of course, keep this private, between you and the Universe when you choose
your sign. And, of course, choose something rare, that you do not see
regularly or daily. Once you've placed this as your personal sign, which
you can use throughout your life, pay attention to shirts, songs, quotes,
conversations and paintings -- as the sign may be anywhere.
My friend was looking for a new love, she walked into
a restaurant and met a man wearing a tie with white lilies on it! This
was an ongoing prayer for her, of course, not a one-day thing. She knew,
when it was time, she'd see her sign and know to proceed toward this person.

First,
we must look at our deepest desires and fantasies. Are you working
at the job of your dreams? Yes? If so, how do you know it's the
right job for you? You look at the signs: 1) you feel happy when
you go to work, 2) you'd still want to do it if they paid you less
(you may not be able to work for less money, but you'd want to)
and 3) you enjoy the actual work most of the time.

you out at school, even though they sort of bothered you. What happened?
You felt miserable the whole date and everything went wrong before,
during and after. Of course, a lot of the time the Universe wants
us to learn something and it gives us a signs to go in a certain
direction. When we ignore it, we get a little push to try and turn
us around. When we ignore that and go ahead anyway, the next time
the Universe makes it a shove.
