Pumpkin Dessert Squares
Preperation Time: 15mins
Cooking Time: 40 mins
Serves: 8-12
CRUST:
1 box yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
FILLING:
2 cups canned pumpkin
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2-1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2/3 cup millk
TOPPING:
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup reserved cake mix
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preparation: Thouroughly mix crust ingredients and press
into 9x13 baking pan.
Mix filling ingredients and put on top of crust.
Mix topping and spread over filling.
Bake at 350° 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted into center
comes out clean. Cut into squares. Serve warm or cool. Garnish with
whipped cream if desired.
