Mexican Pork Chops

Mexican Pork Chops

DESCRIPTION:

South of the border taste as pork chops meet salsa and the flair of cocoa.

INGREDIENTS:

4 boneless pork chops (1 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
1-1/4 cups TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Salsa
1/2 cup finely chopped PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts
1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped cilantro or green onions

DIRECTIONS:

Cook chops in large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min. on each side or until browned on both sides. Combine salsa, peanuts, cocoa and cinnamon; spoon over chops. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 min. or until chops are no longer pink in the center and sauce is thickened, turning chops over and stirring sauce after 3 min. Sprinkle with cilantro.
